TEA improves the availability and quality of public goods data and information by funding the development and publication of critical market data, reports and insights to support governments, non-governmental organisations and companies in their efforts to develop an inclusive clean energy sector.

TEA builds the skills and capabilities needed to accelerate the clean energy transition in developing countries, with a particular focus on young Africans. It supports the development and implementation of localised master’s programmes, and provides scholarships, graduate job placements, and in-work training opportunities designed to develop, foster, and retain the expertise required for the energy transition; while striving to increase the representation of women and under-represented minorities in the sector.
