Chevening is the UK government’s international scholarships and fellowships programme. Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations, Chevening offers individuals who show potential to inspire, inform, and influence positive change the opportunity to study fully-funded at a UK university.
The Chevening TEA Scholarship is a programme under the Transforming Energy Access (TEA) platform designed to support a selected number of Chevening Scholars to study an energy-related Master’s degree in the UK. Chevening TEA Scholars will gain access to a rich resource of Chevening programmes and activities and will have exclusive access to the esteemed TEA network via events. They will also have a TEA mentor, opportunities to connect with other TEA researchers, and tailored career support from a TEA delivery partner.
The Chevening TEA Scholarship will fund 30 scholars from sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and the Indo-Pacific region between 2023-27. Chevening TEA Scholars will need to study an energy related master’s degree that has a research or dissertation component. Programmes can range from engineering to sustainable development.
