TEA invites applications for the launch of our latest research project. One successful applicant or consortium will undertake a research project for the Sustainable Energy for All/Leave No One Behind (LNOB) portfolio’s research into the energy needs of vulnerable people globally, living on less than $2.15 per day, referred to as the ‘extreme poor’.
This project aims to identify and categorise the ‘extreme poor’ demographic, and secondly to identify and assess the suitability of market-based interventions that could best serve their energy needs. Grant funding of up to £100,000 is available to one successful application and the project will run for 6-months from January – July 2023.
